Why Sanskriti exists
We started Sanskriti because the pieces we grew up with — the brass thali, the wooden chowki, the toran at the door — were getting harder to find well made, and the alternatives felt mass-produced and hollow.
Sanskriti works directly with artisan families across India — woodcarvers, brass workers, block printers and bead artists — to make home and festive décor that carries the mark of a real maker. Every piece is finished by hand, which means small variations in colour, grain and finish. We think that's the point.
Our design language sits between the traditional and the contemporary: motifs and materials that are unmistakably Indian, shaped for homes that are light, uncluttered and personal. Décor that works on a mandir shelf and on a modern console alike.
We keep our range tight and considered, add festive and seasonal editions through the year, and grow slowly so we can keep quality and our artisan relationships close.
